Getting Things For Free, Vol. 42: Pizza on the Street from Strangers

A boy with a bag not dissimilar to my own flagged me down on the mean streets of Flatlands, Brooklyn for bearing a bag not dissimilar to his. He was carrying a box fill of Domino’s pizza and a confession that he was attending some rap concert in Tribeca that night. He gave me some pizza, I gave him my word that if I wanted to go to a rap concert in Tribeca, I would let him know. We would never meet again, but we would always have the memory, the similar-looking bags and stomachs full of pizza.
