You got your flags here, your pints there; your prickly bartender with the brogue there. Either it’s overly crowded with Eire-specific knickknacks or empty as an unused basement rec room. Ah, Irish bars. They’re “down-home,” I guess, which means they must be kind of mean and unforgiving and weirdly their drinks are usually pricey but the atmosphere is winningly unflappable and if it gets too loud, it’s only because the Irish bands have been let out of their cages and that’s not a bad sound to be encumbered with.
 
I don't mind this place.
