V for Vendetta Against Victuals That are Tasty

Ah, meatless morsels.

 

Vegan food is a curious assortment of vegetables and fakery for a meat-loving lassie, but I must come to terms with my esteem for animals and my inability to conceptualize eating a creature as animate as my cat. So I’m trying to eat vegan food. The V Spot in Park Slope can satisfy some of my desires food-wise but is never worth the money I paid for it.

 

The expansively reaching cultural foodstuffs of The V Spot are hit-or-miss in quality and size. The empanadas are very good, however lacking in meat. The kale is too salty and too expensive, the sweet potato fries quite acceptable; the tostada salad tasteless. I hear the desserts are good.

 

But I... need... meat (just not the flesh of my cat).
