Bareburger

Location

 Bareburger is by far one of the greatest finds in Astoria. My fiance and I just stumbled upon it while simply looking for a good burger joint. This is way more than just a burger joint though, it's an all around great experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and it's decor is fabulously minimal. They have very few things on their walls, but what they do have is fun and interesting to look at. They usually decorate to compliment the season as well. 

The food is exquisite! They have a smaller menu, but the variety of meat that is available is very impressive. When you go, you must get a burger. You have an option of Piedmontese Beef, Turkey, Grilled Chicken, Veggie Burger, Portabella Mushroom, Bison, Elk, Ostrich, or Lamb. I haven't tried everything just yet, but I can not wait to sample the Ostrich burger. I love the variety and the prices are pleasantly low for what you get. The burgers are magnificent and the fries are the perfect compliment, which are available with various dipping sauces. 

I believe they just recently received their liquor license and they are now serving alcohol. I haven't tried it yet, but that is more of a reason to go back very, very soon.

Everything at Bareburger is 100% organic and environmentally friendly.

The other 'to die for' items are the Milk Shakes and All Natural Sodas. I can't recommend this place enough, go and try it for yourself, you will not be disappointed.
