So. Lately, we’ve been having some outrageously nice weather for March, which happened last year too but after all this snow it’s certainly a tease. Now just rewind in your mind to September, and those first inklings of fall, when the leggings are starting to come out with those summer wedges and jackets…
Yes! It’s time for fall jackets! And the first shop we hit, which is already gathering a crowd on the streets (this is probably when we start to gather this concept and it’s absolute awesomeness) and we hit up DKNY which shares the block with Diesel, Swatch, M-Missoni, Dolce and Gabbana, Paracelso and Emporio Armani. that shop’s packed. Looks like some hip hop is happening there.
Entering DKNY, we’re handed mini champagne bottles like one of those mini Coronas and encouraged to meander around the store. A sales person attached himself to us and holds my champagne as I try on jacket after jacket that I won’t be purchasing. Then we smell some perfumes and colognes (our shared vice) and head out into the indigo evening. But champagne-lighter.
