The King of Falafel - One of the best places to get falafel and one of the greatest street vendors out there! 

One of the best things about this place is that they are always so friendly. We had to wait a little while at one point so they offered us a free falafel sample. They are upbeat and are always working hard. They keep their customers happy and I know I will keep going back. 

The falafel is truly amazing and it's one of the best in the city. It's cheap and satisfying, but I can never get enough. The other food is also just as good. They are also known for their shawarma, which is to die for. I never knew what shawarma was before, but was happily introduced to it by these guys. I've also tried their chicken that is smothered in a variety of different spices. It's cooked perfectly and can be enjoyed in a sub roll, a pita, or just about any way you like.  

There are a lot of street vendors out there, but not everyone is as special as The King of Falafel. I am lucky enough to live in Astoria, the only place they are located. If you live outside of Queens, I guarantee you it's worth the trek!
