Coyotes Spotted in Manhattan

Three Coyotes appeared on the Columbia University campus Sunday morning according to the New York Post.  A Coyote was spotted darting around bushes and across a frozen lake in Central Park.

Experts are saying more are likely to be seen as they have to compete with the human species for living space, and are forced to seek new territory.  It is also breeding time and the young animals will be kicked out as the adults are preparing to breed.
